Please read this first
This page is a template privacy notice for Kawaii Toons. It is not legal advice and is not finished until the site owner replaces every marked placeholder with accurate details and has the policy reviewed as needed for their situation.
Fields that still need owner review are marked in the banner above and in the callouts below. Do not treat placeholder text as a final legal commitment.
Who this policy is for
This notice describes how the Kawaii Toons website may collect and use information when you browse pages, submit a contact form, or join an optional email list.
Information we may process
Depending on which features are enabled, we may process:
- Server and security logs — such as IP address, browser type, and request time — generated by hosting infrastructure
- Analytics data — if a measurement tool is configured (see below)
- Contact form submissions — name, email, topic, and message, if you send them
- Email newsletter details — if you opt in to a list for parents and adults
- Affiliate click events — privacy-conscious events such as product id and page path pushed to a data layer when you click affiliate links (no cloaked redirects)
We do not ask children to create accounts on this site, and our optional newsletter is directed at parents and adults.
Analytics
We may enable optional, privacy-conscious measurement when a measurement ID is configured through PUBLIC_GA4_MEASUREMENT_ID. If that value is empty, remote analytics scripts are not loaded.
When measurement is enabled:
- Events cover affiliate clicks, printable downloads, internal search (query length / result counts only), newsletter signup attempts (never the email address), outbound non-affiliate links, and product-comparison interactions.
- IP anonymization and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the GA4 config we ship.
- If
PUBLIC_ANALYTICS_CONSENT_REQUIREDis enabled, we wait for an Accept choice before loading/sending analytics. Decline keeps remote measurement off. - We do not hard-code a GA4 ID in the site source.
Contact forms and email
Spam-prevention on the contact form may include a honeypot field, a form-timing value, and a simple confirmation checkbox. Those hooks are meant to reduce junk submissions without invasive behavioral tracking widgets.
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or local storage required for site operation or analytics when analytics is enabled. Replace this section with a precise cookie list after owner review of your stack.
Affiliate links
Outbound affiliate links may include program tracking parameters required by the merchant (for example an Amazon Associate tag). That tracking happens on the merchant’s side after you leave Kawaii Toons. See the Affiliate disclosure.
How long we keep information
Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Use the contact page or the privacy contact above after those details are finalized.
Children’s privacy
Kawaii Toons publishes family-friendly creative content, but optional email signup and contact forms are intended for parents and adults. We do not knowingly market email signup directly to children.
Changes to this notice
We may update this page. The updated date in the page header should change when material edits ship. After owner review, keep the effective date accurate.
Not legal advice
Nothing on this page is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. The site owner should finalize jurisdiction, processors, and wording before presenting this as a completed privacy policy.
